  At first, the size might seem overwhelming, but the people are so welcoming it doesn't take long to feel like home! I appreciate the emphasis on family life, outreach and ministry, and Bible teaching. The services and music is purposefully structured for all ages and the preaching is broken down into every day language as the message comes straight from God's Word. There's a lesson for everyone! Excellent children's ministry, adult groups, and care for special needs. Lots of opportunities to get involved! I love this church.

  The only time that I was at Calvary Church was for my high school graduation this past June. As the graduating senior, I was really comfortable and relaxed. It truly is a beautiful church and I definitely wouldn't mind coming here for an actual service.

  Just a few of the reasons I LOVE Calvary Church:
  
  1. I walk away every Sunday personally encouraged and challenged to grow in specific ways! (whether from the main message or my ABF or from interactions with others... or all of the above)
  2. The way the services are designed so carefully and intentionally- with the wide variety of members in mind- from young to old. Everyone will find some aspects that fit their preferences, as well as learn to appreciate something that doesn't. I love participating in the diversity within the BODY OF CHRIST– we may be different, but we can love one another!
  3. It is a BIG church, but if you can get connected outside of the main service by joining a small group or Adult Bible Fellowship or by serving, you will find real people that can become like family! Soon you'll be spotting faces you recognize in the crowded lobby.
  4. So many thriving ministries... Can't list them all here, but excellent opportunities for anyone to be involved and find community! Also, I'm a big fan of the Global focus! Grateful to be part of a Church that supports many sharing the Gospel all over the World.

  My husband and I have called Calvary Church home for the past 4-5 years. We absolutely love the church. Yes, it's big, but it's the smallest 'big church' that we know of. There are many ways to feel connected and part of the family and after a while you start to recognize faces and get to know other members. You really get out of the community what you put in. Even as a more introverted family we feel that we belong.
